This small team keeps a large stable of contractors happy.
There are only six people who actually work in the office of this family-owned Kirkland consulting firm (which also won our category for "Favorite Eastside Company.") But there was a full chorus of voices among the 180 others it has placed in contract jobs at Microsoft, Boeing and others around the Seattle area who told us loud and clear: Honesty makes all the difference.
Since its founding in the 1980s, the company's policy has been full disclosure. They tell their contractors exactly how much they're billing the clients for the contractors' time, and take less of a cut in order to build trust and loyalty. "Their transparent pay structure ensures that each consultant is paid fairly, and they genuinely care about you and your career goals," says one happy voter. Those six people may not be many, but they're sure making a lot of people like their jobs.
