Historically, happy hour is designed for post-work wind-down away from the office -- but employees of high-tech company F5 Networks in Belltown love their jobs so much they actually stay at work. During weekly Beer Fridays, the company provides the microbrews, wine and snacks, along with the venue: a game room stocked with foosball, Ping-Pong and air hockey. During the sober light of the workweek, workers also rave about perks like free soda, Starbucks coffee and soy milk available in the kitchens, along with the generous transportation stipend designed to encourage alternate forms of transportation. F5 employees can also work out in the on-site gym, and can receive an on-site massage twice a week. Oh, and did we mention that they all drink company-purchased beer and play games together every Friday?
