Those tireless individuals strive to plan monthly parties for employees, from quarterly poker tournaments for charity to a Mariners game outing last summer. Smaller-scale events range from Halloween costume contests to a recent potluck where everyone was encouraged to bring in a lunch dish that represented their heritage. Surprise lattes and cookies every so often help make every day a party. And then there's the Office Olympics, an annual series of competitive events where employees can show off their collating prowess, stapling expertise, and perform feats of strength using reams of paper.
