Talk about a room with a view. Perched on Elliott Avenue above Myrtle Edwards Park, the building that houses high-tech company F5 Networks nearly puts the Space Needle to shame. Employees are treated to eye-candy views of Puget Sound, Alki Point and the Olympic Mountains, along with a bird's-eye view of all the action in Elliott Bay. "We can watch the trains and boats go by," explains one employee. Sure beats staring at a cubicle wall. But that's not all: The office's proximity to Olympic Sculpture Park makes for great midday strolls, and there's also an on-site gym for those who want to get serious during their lunch hour. And if you have a particularly grueling session on the elliptical (or if you've perspired during your bike ride to work), take advantage of the on-site showers, and soothe those aching muscles with the biweekly on-site massage.
