Founded in 2001, Silicon has gone from 30 to more than 100 employees within the past year, making this one of the hottest places to work right now. Employees say that with the company in such a formative stage, the slate for crafting their careers and roles is wide open. And the opportunity of their product seems endless -- it has found its way into everything from high-end gaming to computer modeling for avian flu at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The company is a fun place to work, too -- staffers fire up their lunch on the outdoor grill, and with no dress code, you'll see everyone from the executive brass on down gathered around in shorts and flip-flops.
