Rusty George Creative

PHOTO Mona the Labrador is a key team member at Rusty George Creative. A good employee shows up for work every day on time and puts in her full eight hours. She's naturally good at her job and doesn't complain. She's a great team player -- always upbeat, fiercely loyal, always ready to have fun, and accepting, friendly and supportive of everyone she works with. Mona, the black Labrador who works at Tacoma design firm Rusty George Creative, is truly the model employee. Her job description includes, as one of her co-workers put it, "calming and entertaining staff members and rotating various small objects around the office. She greets clients who come by and automatically puts them at ease." Employees say having a dog on staff really fits the laid-back personality of the firm and extends the kind of friendliness and warmth they want to convey to their clients. Mona even has her own business cards, and she can be reached at mona@rustygeorge.com.
