Winners:

Best commute programs

Employees at Premera Blue Cross told us about their free shuttle service that runs from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. from off-campus parking sites. They also praised the health care company's location near the bus and ferry terminals as "very convenient." Voters working at Verity Credit Union's Seattle headquarters mentioned how great the company's bus subsidy program is at encouraging people to leave the car at home. Meanwhile, tech giant F5 offers its employees a parking stipend for not driving to work and ample locker rooms and showers for those who decide to pedal their way to the office.

Honorable mention:

The Seattle Times
Who doesn't love subsidized bus pass programs, a secure bike corral, free parking for car-pools, ample vans for van-pooling, and a nearby day-care center for employees? Seattle Times Company employees sure do. (Note: NWjobs is a service of The Seattle Times Company. Employees of NWjobs were excluded from voting in People's Picks.) ***More information.
