Best temp/recruitment agency

Perhaps we're showing our age, but we remember when temp agencies were something to dread. From the sounds of our readers, those days are long gone. Dozens of recruitment agencies received praise for being great to their contract employees, finding the perfect job for a worker's needs and even occasionally offering full benefits packages. Pace Staffing achieved the lion's share of votes with comments such as this one: "The pay, the hours and the friendliness of the staff make this the place I come to when I need a great job." Another Pace employee said, "As a woman-owned business, the company's philosophy and business relations practices are very progressive and personalized." Praise for FILTER was equally robust. In the words of one happy worker, "They rock!" A disciple of creative staffing company Big Fish exclaimed, "They listen to your needs. I love Big Fish and tell anyone in the creative industry about them!"

Honorable mention:

Allyis
Allyis won accolades as one of the most caring, supportive and rewarding staffing agencies around. "It feels more like a traditional company than a recruitment firm," said one worker. "The owners of the company genuinely care about their employees and we are well taken care of -- from medical insurance to vacations, to special recognition, to family-friendly activities. They also make a concerted effort to communicate where the company is going and to hear our opinions. I love working here!"
